I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. The product of a blue-collar family whose lineage trace back to Northern Europe, immigrants who settled in to the Northeastern United States. I was surrounded by hard working tradesmen, who worked long and hard, typically in one industry, and earning an income that met their needs.
I was fortunate to have attended the University of Miami, due to a Military scholarship and while in college I worked full time to make ends meet. Upon graduation, I was commissioned a Second Lieutenant and shipped off to Flight School. I flew helicopters for six years, all over the world. I served in uniform for seven years full-time, mostly with 18th Airborne Corps (Fort Bragg) and the 2d Infantry Division (Korea).
My civilian career kicked off quickly, earning an entry-level operations role at Pepsi Cola, where we built great teams and coached amazing talent. After Pepsi, I joined the global Mobile Phone industry, holding various roles in high-tech operations with Ericsson and then Sony, typically in international assignments. My operational career included roles in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, purchasing, and quality. Key to my success was talent and performance management, again, building great teams that were built to last. Teams that are still in place today.
Due to the talent of the teams that supported me, I later achieved senior executive roles (VP and COO), which expanded my scope into Human Resources, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Contact Centers, and Facilities.
I’ve traveled to 42 countries and six continents, yet what I remember the most of my corporate time is the coaching and mentoring that I both received, and that I was able to offer.
As your Coach, I will dedicate my time to helping you through a proven process that has been developed at The Entrepreneur Source, helping tens of thousands of people like you to take control of your Career.
While building my corporate career, I signed up to become a US Army Reservist. The Army Reserves took me to many places and sharpened my skills of coaching men and women of all backgrounds, enabling them to achieve their goals. With the support of many, I commanded a Battalion and a Brigade and earned a Master of Science in Strategy from the US Army War College.
I reside in Miami now, after a lifetime of international travel and multiple relocations. I’m fluent in Spanish, and not bad at Brazilian Portuguese. I remain a die-hard family man, with a couple of grandkids that I absolutely adore. Being a business owner gives me the time to spend with my family, to enjoy the lifestyle of an owner.
I’m a terrible golfer, recently took up pickle ball, exercise daily and eat right. I’m an active community volunteer, and a man of faith.
I am dedicating the rest of my life to Coaching, my true passion, and I am excited to share my career coaching skills with individuals like yourself.
