Meet Shawn Marcotte

Career Ownership Coach™ | Helping You Build Your Career 2.0

I help professionals take control of their future—whether they’re burned out in the W-2 world, recently laid off, or looking to build wealth through business ownership or a strategic side hustle.

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, in a blue-collar family that taught me the value of hard work and integrity. A military scholarship took me to the University of Miami, where I worked full time while earning my degree. After graduation, I served as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot and officer for seven years, stationed around the globe.

From there, I launched a 25+ year corporate career that included leadership roles at PepsiCo, Ericsson, and Sony. I’ve led high-performing global teams in operations, logistics, HR, IT, and more—eventually serving as a VP and COO. I also continued to serve in the U.S. Army Reserve, commanding both a Battalion and a Brigade, and earning a Master’s in Strategy from the U.S. Army War College.

I’ve worked in 42 countries across six continents—but what I remember most isn’t the boardrooms or the travel. It’s the coaching. The people. The transformation.

That’s why I now dedicate myself fully to Career Coaching.
